Romantic Loneliness Scale (RomLon)
Does a lack of romance leave you feeling lonely? Four questions.
About this scale
The RomLon is a 4-item scale published in 2025. It measures loneliness that comes from a lack of romance in your life: no relationship, dating that keeps going nowhere, or romance gone from a marriage. Totals run from 4 to 28; higher means stronger romantic loneliness. The authors give no cut-offs, so bands use the scale midpoint, not norms, and are not a diagnosis.
